Day1: Mabamba bay wetland
 Size: 16500ha, Elevation: 1130m above sea level, Coordinates: 32°20°E, 00°05°N Bird species Recorded: 260 species
Mabamba is an extensive marsh stretching through a long narrow bay, fringed with papyrus towards the western main body of Lake Victoria in Mpigi District. . It has the status of unprotected area with bird categories, globally threatened species and Lake Victoria Basin biome species. This Important Bird Area (IBA) is one of the best marshy areas along the northern shores of Lake Victoria for bird watching: it is the closest place to Kampala. The climate is similar to other areas of northern shorelines of the lake (1200 - 1500mm of rain with average minimum temperature of 17°C and average maximum temperature of 26°C).
Mabamba bay has grown into one of the most interesting and spectacular site for birding in Uganda. Apart from Murchison Falls National Park, Mabamba bay is the only place and site ( so far rated as the best in Africa and/or the whole world) where the elusive Shoebill can be spotted at any one time of the day. Recently, Mabamba has become one of the strong holds for the migrant Blue Swallow with over 100 individuals recorded every year. Mabamba has been surveyed in recent years and now boosts of over 260 species with one day's record of 157 species. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight
Day 2: Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Habituation Center
Have breakfast to be transferred to the jetty in Entebbe to transfer to Ngamba Island. You will have to board the boat at 9:00 to reach the Island at about 11:00 pm search that you can coincide with the chimpanzee feeding time in order to watch them feed. You will spend an hour with them to have lunch at the Island. After lunch you will go with the young chimpanzees for a nature walk in the afternoon to search for other fauna and also flora. Overnight at the Island

Day 3: Entebbe Birding
You will have breakfast to be transferred to the Uganda Wild life education centre formerly known as the zoo. This area is managed by the Uganda wildlife Authority. It is a conservation area containing both flora and fauna. You will spend the whole day there to be given an introduction to the wildlife of Uganda and some of the threatened species around. Expect animals like the Lions, snakes, monkeys, chimpanzees, Rhinos, baboons, buffaloes and plenty of birds. You will have a lunch picnic at the park. In the evening you will drive back to Bomah guest house Entebbe. After lunch go for half day birding at Entebbe Botanical Gardens. Watch out for the Brown throated weaver, Golden backed weaver, Yellow backed weaver, Grey headed gull, Long tailed cormorant, Common Squacco heron, Yellow billed duck, Pied kingfisher, Giant kingfisher, Swamp flycatcher, Broad billed roller, Black and white casqued hornbill, Splendid glossy starling, Black headed gonolek, Orange weaver, Red chested sunbird, Slender billed weaver, Ross’s Turaco, Pied hornbill, Crowned hornbill, Open billed stork, Great red warbler, Sedge warbler, Grey caped warbler and many other species. Have lunch and relax then departure
